Notes
- A visa is required for US citizens traveling to Brazil. Please contact our office for more information.
- Immersion classes include lunch at local restaurants with the teacher.
- Each class hour is 55 minutes.
- Live & Learn takes you and your teacher into town for practical language lessons: $55 per hour. Students are responible for paying entrance and transportation fees for both themself and the teacher.
- If there are 3 or fewer students in a group class, class hours will be reduced from 4 hours per day to 3 hours per day
- The rates for the hostel are only an approximation. We can recommend hostels for your stay, but we don’t make the reservation.
- Prices are in US dollars.
- Courses begin every Monday. If a Monday is a national holiday, the course will start on the following Tuesday. Group classes missed due to holidays cannot be made up. Private class can be rescheduled at a later time.
- For December - February (Holidays and Carnival Season), there’s High Season supplement fee of 20% for lodging and we highly recommend booking in advance as housing books quickly. BridgeAbroad cannot guarantee a set price for lodging during those dates since the prices fluctuate in Brazil and the school cannot control that.
- Max group size is 7.
- Live & Learn can be added to any course. Students visit local points of interest accompanied by an instructor-- A class outside of the classroom! Students pay for all additional expenses such as transportation and entrance fees.
